This centre has a exhibition on the history of Donegal tweed since the 19th Century using text, photography, artifacts, audio visual displays and demonstrations. Designated as a Bard Fáilte Heritage Town, Ardara is also of Ireland's and Donegal's main centres of tweed and knitwear production, with the Ardara Weavers Fair, held in early summer each year.
