Dunlewey Pottery

Dunlewey Pottery is based at the visitor centre Ionad Cois Locha at the foot of the Errigal Mountain Dunlewey Co. Donegal. The centre has a restaurant craft shop play area and boat trips are available. The public are welcome to come and watch the potter Kim Sharkey produce her hand thrown work in Dunlewey. Kim is inspired by the beautiful surroundings in Co. Donegal evident her use of coastal colours and words printed in the pottery:- "Where waves roll on" The pieces are finished with two neutral tones. Kim allows a natural run in the glazes which further compliment the words in this unique range of pottery.
