Fully equipped licensed boats are available for Deep Sea Fishing around the coast with an experienced skipper to guide you. Donegal is home to salmon and sea trout fisheries with countless smaller wild game fisheries. Or captain your own boat, take to the waves, sail along the Atlantic coast, feel with wind in your hair and taste the salt on your skin! For those who enjoy being less active there are also pleasure cruises available along the waters off the coast where you can sit back, relax and absorb yourself in the most unspoilt views in Ireland.

Many of these gardens offer guided tours which help to get a better and more informed insight to plants and varieties growing in Donegal! Our county is rich in Cycling and Walking routes with some of them meandering along the Wild Atlantic Way – the longest coastal route from Cork to North Donegal. The North West Cycle Trail is a 326 circular cycle route that can be enjoyed as long or short routes. Enjoy dramatic views of the Atlantic ocean on coastal roads with quiet country roads and some traffic free sections in urban areas.
